After 2019, Vivo discontinued its S-series smartphones in India. Now, in August 2026, the company is bringing the S series back to the Indian market. The Vivo S2 5G is scheduled to launch on 6 August 2026, and it will be available for purchase starting 11 August 2026 through online platforms and retail stores.

The Vivo S2 is available in two variants in India. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at ₹39,999, while the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at ₹44,999.
