VIVO T5 Design and Display
Talking about the design, the Phone comes with an ultra-slim profile and a low-bezel design, giving it a modern and premium look. Despite packing a large 7050mAh battery, the phone feels relatively compact and handy to hold. The vivo T5 is available in two colour options: Silver Green and Royal Bronze.
Moving to the display, the vivo T5 features a large 6.83-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800 × 1260 pixels. The phone has slim bezels, which help provide a more immersive viewing experience.
The display also supports HDR10+, allowing users to enjoy high-quality HDR content on supported OTT platforms. With up to 2000 nits of brightness, the screen remains easy to view in daylight and outdoor conditions.
Vivo T5 5G Camera

Talking about the camera, Vivo T5 5G comes with a 50MP Sony IMX882 main rear camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 32MP front selfie camera.
In terms of camera quality, the 50MP main camera delivers clear skin tones, while HDR works quite well and produces pleasing colours overall. The selfie camera also maintains skin tones, clarity and details to a good extent.
For videography, the phone supports 4K video recording, which delivers detailed video results. Both the front and rear cameras support 4K video recording.
vivo T5 Performance and Processor

The vivo T5 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. This combination delivers a smooth experience for both multitasking and gaming.
Users can easily play games like BGMI and Call of Duty Mobile at 60fps. For 90fps gaming, users will have to wait for a future game or software update. The 120Hz display also makes gaming and overall scrolling feel much smoother.
When we checked the AnTuTu score, the vivo T5 scored around 1.2 million, which is a strong score for a smartphone in this price range. In daily use, whether it is using the camera, multitasking, or gaming, the vivo T5 performs well and should not disappoint users.
vivo T5 Battery and Charging
Talking about the battery, Vivo T5 5G comes with a large 7050mAh battery along with a 44W FlashCharge charger. Vivo claims that the phone can offer up to 85 hours of music playback and 34 hours of video playback, along with 5 years of battery health.
When we tested the battery, it actually lasted for around 2 days with regular usage. However, Vivo has disappointed users with the 44W charging support, as phones in this price segment are offering 80W–90W charging, which can charge the device much faster.
vivo T5 UI and Software Updates
The vivo T5 runs on OriginOS based on Android 16. The interface is easy to use, and the apps are well organised, making it easy for users to find and access different features.
vivo claims that the T5 will receive 3 major Android updates along with 5 years of security updates, which is good for users looking for long-term software support.
The phone also comes with several useful AI features, including AI Creation, AI Transcript Assist, AI Captions and AI Documents. These features can be useful for everyday tasks and make the overall software experience more convenient.
vivo T5 Gaming Experience
Talking about gaming, the vivo T5 delivers a good gaming experience in titles like BGMI and Call of Duty Mobile. During our testing, the phone was able to handle gaming smoothly, and users can play these games at up to 60fps without any major issues.
The phone also has the hardware needed for higher frame rates, but 90fps gaming may require a future update. The 120Hz display further helps make gameplay, scrolling and animations feel smoother.
The vivo T5 offers a good gaming experience for users who regularly play games like BGMI and Call of Duty Mobile. The combination of its Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset and high-refresh-rate display makes it a capable option for gaming in this price segment.
Final verdict
Looking at the previous models launched by Vivo, this phone could be available at around ₹31,499 for the 6GB + 128GB variant after bank discount. Another phone I have seen, the iQOO Z11, is also expected to come at a similar price, with almost the same features as Vivo T5.
The Vivo S2, which Vivo has launched mainly for the offline market. It comes with an almost similar design and many of the same features, but the Vivo S2 is priced much higher than the T5.
So, in my honest opinion, if you are choosing between these three phones, Vivo T5 would be the better option to consider.
